Whether you’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, have an abnormal mammogram, or simply feel a lump, Dr. Sandra Templeton is a leading breast surgeon who specializes in the treatment of women with breast diseases.   You will be personally evaluated by Dr. Templeton and an individualized treatment plan based on your specific needs will be created.    Prompt access to treatment will be provided to assure the best possible outcome.  Dr. Templeton loves teaching her patients about their illness giving them comfort and empowerment through knowledge.  She specializes in minimally invasive procedures and newer breast surgeries that have a more cosmetically pleasing outcome, including the nipple sparing mastectomy, a mastectomy where all of the skin, nipple, and areola are saved.

Breast care and breast cancer treatment is a multistep process that requires coordinated medical treatment from various specialized areas.  We will develop a treatment plan in consultation with you and your team of medical specialist that fits your individual diagnosis.  We are privileged to have patients entrust us with their medical care and allow us to be an integral part of their healthcare journey.


Sandra Templeton, MD FACS
Board certified general surgeon for more than ten years.  She is a fellow of the American College of Surgeon and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.  She taught at Baylor College of Medicine, her alma mater, prior to returning to private practice.  Dr. Templeton’s commitment to excellence and patient centered care were recently recognized when she was named a Houston area “Top Doc” by H-Texas magazine.   Dr. Templeton collaborates with other doctors in multidisciplinary cancer care conferences at Methodist Sugar Land, Memorial Hermann Memorial City, and Oak Bend Medical Center to improve the outcomes of her patients.  She is a native of the Houston area where she is involved in the community with her husband and three sons.
